Frite & Scoop - Long Beach

Excellent ice cream and fries. We loved the place in Astoria, but rarely get there, so we were super excited when they opened a cart in LB. The setup is great with plenty of seating and bike parking. If you like ice cream, you will love this place.

I live in Astoria and decided to take a little day trip to Long Beach. I was already familiar with the local Frite and Scoop back home and had a feeling I was in for a treat. I came upon this new Frite and scoop food truck and I was blown away by how delicious the fries and ice cream was and how kind and generous the two workers were. I ordered a double little scoop of a new flavor called peninsula fog which is similar to their Astoria fog but with a cranberry curd! The tea flavor was subtle while the cranberry gave it a great kick! I 100% recommend.

Worst spot in Long Beach especially for the fact they don’t allow samples especially for kids. But also the ice cream was disgusting. Bubble Gum tasted rotten. No wonder Scoops is a 45 min wait, that’s where everyone in the town is running to.

Fantastic ice cream, the peninsula fog is the best earl grey ice cream ive had.
