A lovely little bakery stop near the coast. Everything felt fresh and comforting, exactly what you want on a seaside morning. Great selection of baked goods, generous portions, and friendly service. A perfect place to grab something sweet (or savory) with a coffee before heading out to enjoy the beach. Would happily stop again.
Amazing donuts! Our favorite place for the treat! Even has the ones I remember as a kid and can't find anywhere else! The service is always lovely too 😊 The only bummer is that the only coffee they have is a pump pot and creamer pods, not an actual coffee station and I would love at least a decent cuppa joe with a donut 😞
Outstanding sandwiches and delicious sweets. Easy to miss this place as it doesn't stand out like a lot of the other shops along Long Beach's main drag. The Beach Comber is a definite mouthful!Definitely worth another visit. 02/2026 - The club sandwich is a beautiful thing.
Its been a year since i was last here. It seems to have changed as far as the pastries/donuts go. They used to be light and fresh but this time everything seemed overcooked and heavy. I bought a butterhorn, apple turnover, choc bar and bacon/maple bar. The bars were very dark like they were cooked a little long and were dense instead of light. The butterhorn was also dense instead of light like it was overbaked and/or slammed on the table and collapsed. The turnover was also the same. So im not sure if they changed their baking process or just had a bad morning. Hopefully, it was just a bad day because this is my go-to place when i wanna buy 3doz for my work. Pic is the butterhorn
I was told my food “isn’t raw” and to “go somewhere else if you don’t like our food” anyway here’s a pic of my raw b&g. As a local, I was so so so disappointed by their response. I also asked the “barista” if she made my kids coco with oat milk (verifying for my child’s allergies) and was told “if you said oat milk when ordering then it’s probably oat milk” I’ve been coming here since before it was Dylan’s and have never been so disappointed. I guess we will go elsewhere for all of our birthday cakes and celebrations.
