What a wonderful unexpected delicious place to discover in Longbeach. We were met with a very friendly and helpful baker Steve, complete with bakers hat! He had many samples on hand to include Key Lime Cheesecake, Pecan Bars, and assorted breads. The Key lime was so freaking gooood!!! We also bought a Raspberry Cheesecake and Carrot Cake. Can we talk about the cheesecake crust for a minute? Typically you see graham cracker crust....NOPE,NOT HERE....its a flakey more like shortbread crust!! The Carrot Cake is by far and not even a close, BEST I have EVER HAD. I am always searching out for the best, so I don't take it lightly. Please go there when In Longbeach...This is a place that will keep you craving to come back!
This is the best bakery in Washington. Every time I come to town, Sadie and Josie’s is a must stop. Favorites include their bread (extra sour sourdough or the rosemary, onion, garlic extra sourdough bread), their peanut butter fudge, caramel bars, fruit pies, cream cheese pies, cinnamon rolls, cheesecakes, chocolate sourdough muffins, and more. They always have samples ready because they know how good their bakery is.
I stopped by Sadie’s Bakery on a whim, and it turned out to be one of those places that instantly feels comforting. The smell alone pulls you in, but it’s the homemade quality that really stands out—nothing tastes mass-produced or rushed. Every pastry I tried had that perfect balance of sweetness without being overwhelming. The staff was friendly in a genuine, small-town way that made the visit even better. It’s the kind of bakery you don’t just visit once—you start looking for excuses to come back.
I don't know what the atmosphere for the store is because I never been to it. But the store was handing out bread to everyone in the band who was in the parade at Long Beach today. Tossed out loaves of bread into the crown. They even gave each of my kids free cookies 🍪. Well I wasn't able to get a good picture of the sourdough bread I got one of the cookies. All my kids loved them. The sourdough bread is amazing 🤤 it was eaten surprisingly quickly hence why I have no pictures... As we walked around town I heard all the band members commenting just how grateful they were for this delicious bread that was give it to them. Thank you Sadie and Josie's for the delicious free gifts. You guys blessed all the kids today and I am so grateful for that.
All of there item's taste so good. The best, I say, are the extra sourdough rolls. They are sold by the dozen for $9.99. I freeze them and take out just what I need and put them in the oven and they are like fresh baked. My husband loves the extra big, frosted cinnamon rolls.
