Great food, atmosphere and service. We tried to get to the Lost Roo last time we were her but they were closed but this time they were open. We shared the house smoked prime rib dip and clam chowder. Could not decide on fries or tots so they did 50/50. I preferred the fries over the tots but they were still good. One of the best prime rib dips I have had and a close second for the clam chowder. The service was great. Will definitely be back to this place.

So thankful we stumbled on this gem. After a full day of driving along the 101, I had one goal: a truly good burger. Not just convenient. Not just “fine.” A good one. And Lost Roo delivered — and then some. Everything is homemade. Not in the trendy, throwaway way people say it, but in the kind of way you can taste. I’m big on the meat-to-bun ratio (I mention it in half my reviews for a reason), and their burger absolutely nailed it. Balanced, juicy, structurally sound — the kind you commit to with both hands. And the “Roo-Ben”? Also perfectly executed. Thoughtful, generous, and clearly made by people who care about what leaves their kitchen. I was so busy enjoying my meal I didn’t even take a picture, which honestly says more than a photo ever could. I did snap a shot of the building

Three words. Ahi Tuna Tower. So delicious! Every element of this dish was prepared to perfection. We will have a hard time ordering something else next time if it’s still on the menu. We sat at the bar and the staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Good food, excellent waitstaff. Lost Roo is like stepping back into time, the rustic wood surroundings, contemporary seating, honky tonk style bar, it's the perfect gathering place. The food is fresh ads tasty, playing a safe middle lane in terms of flavor. The menu is everything you might recognize, with coastal flavoring thrown into the mix. Check the daily specials, the is always something brewing in the kitchen. There is an ample drink selection with many of the draft taps including regional breweries, to give you a hop taste of the area. Lost Roo is one of those places that feel good, and offers you a great dining experience. Oh and the waitstaff, ultra fiendly, very efficient, they check in on you without being intrusive, but they wil insure that you are well cared for.

Looking at the restaurant choices in the area, this is the only place I found that offers a balanced menu without heavily tilted to deep-fried seafood or overpricing on everything. Both the food and experience were actually so good that I visited this restaurant two times during my stay in the area. Prime rib was on the special menu on one of the days that I went, and it was a big piece of exactly-how-it-should-be-cooked meat and it was really delicious. The Steelhead salmon was also great if you want something lighter. Highly recommend ordering either the Amber Ale Steamers (clams -- so fresh and perfectly cooked) or the fried Pacific oysters to share for the table, or both if you have a big group or big appetite!
