Fine Fellows Creamery is such a gem in Cape May! We stopped by during our minimoon and it was the perfect sweet treat after strolling the Washington Street Mall. The shop has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were so friendly and patient while we looked through all the delicious options. The ice cream itself was fantastic — creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The portion sizes were generous, and you can tell everything is made with care. It’s the kind of ice cream that makes you stop mid-bite and say, “wow, this is good.” We loved that there were classic flavors alongside some more creative ones, so it worked for both adventurous eaters and those who like to keep it simple. Great ice cream! I had the Coffee fudge and mint chocolate chip vegan ice cream. Both were gluten free as well and tasted good. Fine Fellows has great vibes, and a very welcoming feeling. After a very awful racist experience at another business in Cape May, walking in here felt so safe. I am grateful.

Bassetts Ice Cream (and yes, they have vegan options!) was the perfect late-night snack after a stroll up the boardwalk filled with good eats. The colorful vibe made it even more inviting, and the sweet service topped it off. I went with the vegan coffee fudge ice cream — creamy, rich, and always a solid choice. You really can’t go wrong here.

Fun, colorful, and bursting with pride, Fine Fellows Creamery is an amazing ice cream shop located near the heart of Cape May! From a ton of inventive and unique creations, to their delicious staple flavors, Fine Fellows doles out the happiness with every single scoop. Their staff are incredibly friendly and engaging, and can churn out orders in record time. I got the Grasshopper milkshake and was NOT disappointed! If you’re looking for tasty treats with an LGBTQ theme and a colorful, welcoming environment, then you can’t go wrong here!

We visited Cape May for a long weekend trip and came across Fine Fellows near our hotel and saw it on Yelp. We noticed the LGBT flag and it definitely made me want to support the business! We ordered two scoops in a cup. Delicious salted caramel pretzel scoop and a moose tracks with graham scoop. You can definitely tell the quality of ice cream is of high quality - which accounts for the higher price. I believe our two scoops was $8 which is quite high, however, I will admit the quality was good and the flavors were special. Not an every day treat because of the price but definitely worth a visit if you aren't local! I also saw that they offered vegan ice cream and milk shakes which is a big plus for my brother who is often left without dessert options. We will be back.
