Cafe La Fleur

We had an excellent meal! We got there at 11:30 on July 4th (almost the only restaurant open) and only a few were there but it filled up quickly. I ordered the Cajun Comeback burger with fries. I believe I’ve never had a better burger! It was perfect. Fries were excellent. My wife had shrimp tacos and they were very good. Great service and a wonderful experience.

This was our restaurant of choice for a December weekend meet up with family for "lupper". We knew nothing about the food scene in Laurel but several local shop owners or staff were high on Cafe Le Fleur. The food theme leans toward Cajun but there are less spicy selections, as my wife can attest. The Chicken Bayou was perfectly Cajun, however, and I enjoyed every bite. Very fine fried green tomatoes appetizer, as well. The service was exceptional...I wish I could recall her name but she said she and another person at the restaurant make the desserts served in the restaurant! This a very good restaurant which I would return to if I'm ever in Laurel again.

Just had lunch here today! I had the chicken tortellini. I asked for bread. Everything was delicious!!!! The serving size was generous! The price, staff and atmosphere were great! Not a very long wait time for a busy holiday Saturday either. Perfect visit! Thank you! :)

We went to Cafe La Fleur on a Friday evening in hopes of a good catfish meal because we missed Mr Fish. The catfish meal was "JUST" ok, but our server Samantha made the experience well worth it. She was so friendly and a wealth of information about things to do in the area. Great service and great conversation! We would come back just to chat a minute. We think that you guys should consider adding a stage in the front window area and featuring Samantha's comedic style. Again great service and even greater server, thanks Samantha.

The service was good, I ordered the fish tacos and a salad and my fish tacos were almost cold as my salad and I wasn’t giving enough dressing for my salad as well. The margarita I ordered could have used a little sprucing up too, I’ve tasted better.
