Carl's Catfish

We stopped in for lunch and this establishment did not disappoint at all!!! You walk up and order food truck style under an awning. The food comes to you in a to-go box. You can eat inside an air conditioned room or take it to go. We wanted thin sliced catfish and the cook obliged us perfectly! We ordered the shrimp and catfish platter, and we could have shared one platter between the two of us and it was more than enough!

First time visiting. Offers catfish fillets, fried oysters, boiled or popcorn or fried shrimp, BBQ ribs. Can get half and half combo plates. comes with fries, baked beans, coleslaw slaw or potato salad. Good sweet tea, generous portions. Catfish is hot and delicious and large fillets. Potato salad is fine. More than I can eat in one sitting. Service is friendly and fast considering how busy they were. People were very nice and helpful. Wish I had known this place was here months ago.

Our first time trying this place, the seafood platter for “two” definitely was not enough for two people. We ordered no oyster extra fish. The fish were so small. Barely any shrimp on the plate, no where near enough to share with someone. Overall nice customer service, just not enough food.

The ribs are fall-off-the bone tender. The catfish plate includes EIGHT filets, so it is a ton of catfish and the fish is light and fluffy. The potato salad is delicious and bacon-ey. Food was delivered quickly. There is both inside and outside seating. They even gave me a free large tea. We will be back!

We didn't know that we could go inside to eat. We got hours to go. It was some fantastic food. I really enjoyed the oysters and the catfish. Not to mention the hush puppies. They were awesome!. Little too much salt but good. Thank you for some good food ladies!
