Mr Fish

We were traveling thru the area and it came up when searching for restaurants. The dish in the picture looked amazing and the rating was a 4.8, so I was in. Hubby and I are small eaters and often share meals. After deciding to order dish before we got there and then seeing they also had ribs we ordered both. It was a whole lot of food but so glad we ordered both! Best smoked ribs I've ever eaten and it's one of my favorite foods. We will be back when passing through the area. Customer service was amazing. In fact everything was top notch.

Everything was delicious!! The catfish was fried to perfection and wasn’t greasy at all. The chili for the chili cheese fries tasted like a special secret recipe, same for the coleslaw. I’m so glad we came here during our short stay in Laurel, and I’m sure we’ll be dreaming about our dinner for a long time once we’re back home.

First of all, Mr. Fish is the REAL DEAL. He saved the day for our family when some were stranded traveling, and he NEVER EVEN ASKED OUR NAMES. We are still practically speechless. Thank you, Mr. Charles. We can never repay your kindness. The food is fresh and cooked to order, and it was delicious! The atmosphere is so nice, easy and relaxed. The restaurant is clean and decorated so lovely. Everyone we met was friendly and greeted us warmly. These are good people who love the community and have hearts for others. Go, sit a spell, and enjoy the experience. Wish we could give 10 stars. We will never pass by Laurel without stopping in.

Stop by after a quick trip to laurel and the services was great everyone was so friendly. The food was cooked to order and was delicious. Very pleased with Mr. Fish will definitely be back. I had the whiting with chili cheese fries and okra and my husband had the catfish with onion rings and chili cheese fries.

Good eats for sure, had the whiting strip and rib sandwich, both were great, sides were great - ordered 3 extra sides of the greens to go, for dinner tomorrow. Mr. Fish is a treasure, too, very personable and funny. Give them a try, we're glad we did.
