Bedford Inn

We visit Cape May a couple times a year. This visit we tried the Bedford, it didn’t disappoint. The rooms were clean and was just a short walk to the town. We will definitely come back. Nice breakfast buffet too!

We had a lovely time at the Bedford Inn. From the moment we called ahead to confirm our arrival, the staff was warm and attentive. Ashley greeted us and made us feel right at home, offering recommendations on places to eat and explore. She also shared the story behind the transition from the Queen Victoria to the Bedford and gave us helpful directions to afternoon tea at the Prince Albert, which we really appreciated. Jamie helped host a few breakfasts during our stay, and the two of them worked together seamlessly. The rooms were spotless, housekeeping was offered each morning during breakfast, and the tea and water bottles in the common room were always fully stocked, which was such a nice touch. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Bedford Inn for a one night getaway. The staff is absolutely incredible and so kind. The breakfast served was delish. The room was clean and beautiful, we loved the outdoor patios for our morning coffee. We easily walked to the beach from the Inn as well. There is limited parking on site, but it is well worth it. We would both love to stay at the Bedford Inn in the future.

My wife & I came down for our 34th Anniversary. The bed & breakfast was amazing. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was excellent. Very nice sitting on the porches to relax and we could hear the ocean waves crashing. The house was decorated very nicely with shore themes. The house is 1 block from the beach & walking distance to Washington Street. When we first arrived Ashley met us. She was amazing. So friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable of the house and area. It was a pleasure talking to her. It was like we knew each other first years. We plan on coming back again in the summer. We highly recommend the Bedford Inn for your next stay in Cape May.

The Inn is just perfect! We were there December 27-29th and it’s beautifully decorated for the holidays with trees, lights, wreaths, garlands, etc. Every detail of a Victorian home is included in the decor. The owner, Paula, is friendly and efficient and addresses any questions you might have promptly. The house and the guest rooms are very clean, which is very important to me. Breakfast food is delicious and fresh! Hot delicious coffee is available each morning at 6am. At 3:00pm wine and cheese is available and cookies are available at the same time on alternate days. You can make hot tea too. The Inn is a short walk to Washington Street, and close to the beach. There are many restaurants within walking distance too. Our room was comfortable and what I appreciated knowing was yo
