A gem of restaurant ! Wonderful atmosphere, cozy and warm feeling. Delicious food just like home cooked!

This is one of our go-to restaurants in Ridgefield. The food is always delicious - beautiful presentation and big portions, and the staff is so welcoming and friendly, almost feels like it’s family. The atmosphere is classy, rustic, and very warm - what a lovely place to spend your evening. A hometown favorite!

We had Natalie for a server and bartender and she was fabulous. She took great care of us by providing outstanding service. This restaurant is adorable with a comfortable chic atmosphere the food was delightful. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend stopping at this location for lunch if you’re in the area.

We were seated immediately (went after 8 pm) and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is really calming and hopping. My family enjoyed their food; ordered a dish I probably shouldn’t have, but the seafood was definitely fresh. The base was a bit thin and too runny, but I would definitely be back to try a different entree. It’s family friendly-lots of opportunities to keep kids busy woth the decor and shelf items.

I’ve been coming to the barn door since they open over the last few years. The food quality and the taste has not been consistent. I keep on trying each week to give an another chance because I know how good this place used to be, but today was the last straw I ordered a pizza well done and they brought it out raw. I asked them to make a different one and they basically just brought me out a burnt pizza. Also, the server don’t care kitchen staff and server are not in contact and cannot communicate. I hope the owner sees this because I know he’s a hard worker, but your business needs a little more attention from you. I hope.
