Baltic St Beach Access

A lot of steps to get over the dunes, but not to difficult to get down to the beach.

Baltic st beach is a nice spot to enjoy the ocean and the sun in Nags Head, North Carolina. The beach access has paved parking, handicap parking, porta-potty, outdoor showers, wooden walkway and pet waste bags1. The beach itself is clean and sandy, with gentle waves and a wide shoreline. The stairs to the beach are designed for the handicapped or people carrying a lot of stuff, but you can also take the direct approach and just walk up the stairs if you want to2. The beach is not too crowded, but you can still find some friendly locals and tourists to chat with. The beach is also close to some restaurants and shops, so you can easily grab a bite or a souvenir. Baltic st beach is a great place to relax, swim, surf, fish or play with your dog. Great location to park for beach access. There is about 10 or more parking spots with disability spots and it’s almost always empty. It has a port a potty and faucets to rinse your feet.Another bonus is that it is just a one minute walking distance from Booty Treats Ice Cream, a great place for a noon to afternoon snack.

Great location for fishing and almost never overcrowded. Well maintained and peaceful.

Parking fills up QUICK but not too busy if you can get parking or live nearby.
