We had an okay dinner here. No problems making a reservation for 2 on a busy Friday night in December, but I was surprised that we were seated right next to the (cold) door. Other parties that showed up without reservations seemed to get seated in the main dining room. It's definitely a tightly packed space. The hostess spent most of our dinner talking quite loudly on the phone next to us coordinating reservations which was killed any sense of a refined / elevated experience. The food was good, but portion size for the pasta was small and closer to an appetizer. I'm surprised they don't offer larger entree portions of the pasta, especially since the wait staff smartly warns people you're only getting a fistful of pasta for the $25+. We have been here for dinner a few times and it has always been fantastic. From the warmth and care of the service to the food being made with precision and love. There was no doubt this is where we wanted to have our wedding dinner. After our initial inquiry about the event, the manager Arianna, was so receptive and accommodating to all of our requests. From the menu creation and adjustments to our needs and wants, she outdid herself at every turn. Then came time for the event itself. Blown away!! The room was set up wonderfully and even with that, she allowed our family to come in and redecorate the day before without any hesitation. The night of the event the party showed up 30 minutes early and they were ready and waiting. Appetizers came right out and wine was poured right on time.

It was a happy accident that we ended up at Andrea’s. We were planning to go to a restaurant by the beach- but there was a 3.5 hour wait (no joke). We called Andrea’s and they said they could seat us on the patio with no wait. They also mentioned that it is BYOB and to stop at the liquor store on the way! Our meal was delicious- my favorite of our trip. Save room for their ricotta cheesecake :)

I’m not usually a big fan of Italian food. Gave this place a try in a group setting, unfortunately, it only cemented my opinion. Our group ran into a couple leaving the restaurant who had nothing but rave reviews for the chef, whom they follow around as he opens new restaurants. Positives, service was relatively fast and they were able to seat us right away without a reservation. The restaurant itself is rather cramped. Chairs against the wall, trapped in a corner kind of cramped. There was a banister separating tables, but it felt like dining with strangers. Anniversary dinner. Wife a huge fan. She's been to all the versions in S NJ. My first time. It was a good Italian home cooked kinda meal...me being Italian, wife not. Cozy... meaning limited space, but it was very nice and wait service was VG and very attentive. Reminded me of tastes from Vincent's in Brooklyn. Which is a hella compliment. My way of saying "Go."
