If you're looking at reviews trying to decide where to go in Greenport like I was, stepping outside you comfort zone and trying some Alpine fare seems like a good choice. I wish I lived closer! Really cozy, tasteful decor (decorated nicely for Christmas in a way that even this Grinch found appealing), very intriguing drinks list, and some very good food- couldn't have asked for more.- the flatbread with onions and creme fraiche and something crunchy- surprisingly large and very tasty! thought it was fairly priced- will have to order lighter next time so we can try dessert!

We ate there tonight ! Food so so . Basically airplane food portions . The waitress was nice but to get drinks 20 plus min . Then the bartender was the server and she was slow and lazy and after our entrees came out and there was basically no meat included in the portion I'm talking like 4 tiny cubes for a entire portion at $48 we ordered bread to fix the issue and she said that after 20 min of waiting for bread sorry we are busy and bread will take another 20 min . This place sucks and food isn't Swiss it's basically appetizers that arent good . The table next to us waited over 30 for the bill they had drinks and bread and their food never came . Better restaurant's in area . Dont go

First night in town dinner, pleasant surprise. Food was excellent and so was our server who was serving, hosting and and bartending solo. Look forward to returning.

We made a reservation at this place thinking we wanted to try the pasta based on a past review. Turns out, they didn’t have that pasta and we decided to try Wiener schnitzel for the first time. What a treat! It was so delicious and enough for two. We also enjoyed the bread basket with coriander-sunflower butter and olive oil/balsamic vinegar. Yummy! We also had a side of pancetta savory spätzli - which pairs really well with our entree. The restaurant is cozy with Swiss flair. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Thank you for an amazing time!

The food, vibe and service were all A+ at Alpina. Everything we tried from the Swiss beer, to the entrees to the desserts was excellent. Extremely fresh food, kind and attentive staff and very cool and cozy atmosphere inside. Already can’t wait to go back!
