Zico's

We were traveling and getting to know the area and wanted to try something different and boy let me tell ya it was delicious! We ordered Chicken shawarma and lamb shawarma Steak and cheese calzone and my picky eater daughter wanted a grill cheese which they don't have on the menu but she got it and it was yummy for sure. Service was excellent and we even got to try the falafel. Never had it before but truly liked it. Best place to go eat and enjoy some delicious food. Highly recommend! If we lived in the area we would be there every single day. We drive from Concord, NC and it was more than worth it

We had an absolutely fantastic time here! The owner personally served us and you can tell that he takes pride in his establishment and enjoys what he does. He was so kind and welcoming! My child is super picky and he made her garlic cheesey bread, an item that is not on the menu, without hesitation and didn't even charge us for it! We could hear him whistling in the kitchen while cooking our food so you know there's love and culture in that food! If we weren't 379 miles away from home, we would eat here regularly!

HAVE to try it. The food is consistently top-notch. I highly recommend the kofta, which is perfectly seasoned and cooked, the incredibly flavorful shawarma, and the magnificent mussakaa—it's rich, comforting, and authentic. Beyond the delicious food, the standout feature is the service. The owner is the friendliest you will ever meet, always taking the time to make you feel welcome. It's that kind of genuinely warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps me coming back again and again. Whether you're a long-time fan of Aly Baba or discovering this place for the first time, you won't be disappointed! This is a must-visit spot.

Wow I am so happy we stumbled upon this place! The food was delicious — unique and flavorful and high quality; a real treat. And the owner Zico went above and beyond to make the whole experience memorable for us. He was so friendly and engaging and is excellent at what he does. Highly recommend Zico’s!!

I can't say enough good stuff about Aly Baba. My wife and I went for the first time recently, and it's absolutely going to start being one of our favorite places to go. The lamb shawarma was absolutely astounding. Great flavor, good portion size, delicious. Their tzatziki sauce is the best I've ever had. The falafel pita that I had easily competed with some of the top-ranking falafel places that I've visited in Los Angeles, and Salem has no business having some of the best falafels in the 'States (but I'm glad that it does)! But by far, where Aly Baba stood out the most was their pizza. Oh my goodness, the gyro pizza was absolutely astounding. The blend of cheeses they used was a perfect blend of pungent and mild, firm and soft. The crust was good enough that I could eat an entire pizza
