Lovely atmosphere that feels very at home in the Virginia mountains. Good food and a unique decorative style. Feels cozy and homely, and the food is assembled with care. While I myself do not partake in the alcohol those who have come with me enjoy that quite a lot here.

Absolutely incredible experience every time my wife and I are in town to see family. For us, Stave and Cork is a must go, gem in Salem. Susan always provides incredible recommendations (also everyone else is extremely nice and friendly) and the food is perfect to accommodate the atmosphere. It’s a place where you can relax and truly unwind for an evening. Highly recommend to anyone considering trying and looking for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy good wine from all over.

Just discovered this hidden gem! Service is impeccable and the wine is amazing! We had bruschetta with our wine and it was fabulous! The prices are very reasonable and it has fantastic atmosphere! The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience! We will definitely be returning!

Absolutely love this place! Susan and Pamela gave us top notch service and a reason to want to return - well, the wine and food did too, but? 🤭 Loved sampling their wines from all over the world! I enjoyed the Italian white wine sampling, with an upgrade to a Finger Lakes bubbly (that I bought to bring home!) while my honey enjoyed the all red wine sampling - one bottle of which is also in the car with us. So fun. Thank you, Susan and Pamela! ❤️

We had such a nice relaxing time here. The wine suggestion was spot on and we enjoyed the panini. We enjoyed chatting with owner and learning about the history of the building. We were just passing through town but will make a point to stop here again.
