York Public Library

Love that the entire ground floor is dedicated to the children's rooms. Lots to do! Plenty of books, play spaces, and toys. There is even a little play house which the kids love!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The building is lovely and my visit was all I hoped for.

York library has the nicest and friendliest employees and volunteers. Always a joy to visit. I did the Mandala rock painting yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. Emily was a joy and great instructor.Thank you for providing these terrific and inspiring adult workshops. Looking forward to next Thursday.

Wonderful staff here! I’m in town for vacation and had to print and scan some personal business unexpectedly. Our first call was to the library and they said to come right in. The young woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, which I greatly appreciated! And wow, what a beautiful building and atmosphere.

Big, fairly extensive, and beautiful library on even more beautiful grounds. Found out after having been there and checked out books previously that you have to be a resident of York proper, or else pay $75 to use the library. With everything else in the area costing so much, I suppose it makes sense that even the library wouldn't be free.
