Albracca at 560 York Street

You will love this B&B! We learned that owners Dole and Kris rehabbed this former residence into a 2 story inn with each room individually decorated. Dole personally selected all the furnishings, creating a beautiful and casually elegant inn that was perfect for our Maine vacation. The common areas (I counted 6 distinct rooms) are warm and inviting, there are pleasant places to lounge around outside, and our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. A lovely ocean view and a beach are less than a half-mile from the inn. The breakfast featured delicious scones, breads, fruit, granola and yogurt, and we were also offered eggs, bacon and roasted potatoes. Everything was just delightful!

We had an incredible stay. We had planned on staying one night but woke up and asked for a second night. We experienced total rejuvenation being close to the beach, being in a spacious comfortable clean room, and having a home cooked breakfast in the morning. In comparison to other places we have stayed of similar quality and beauty, Albracca is very reasonably priced. Dole is welcoming, gracious and immediately responsive to texts or phone calls with any questions. We will see you again soon Dole!

We travelled through New England in July as a couple and stayed in many inns and B&B during our road trip. The Albracca was by far the most luxurious and pleasant B&B we stayed in while probably also the cheapest. We were greates by the owner, a charming lady with excellent taste. After selling their hotel, they bought this property a few years ago and completely renovated it. The three living rooms are elegant, the rooms exquisitely decorated in a simple and understated way. Bathrooms are modern and airy. In the morning we shared breakfast at the long table in the dining room with two other couples. Breakfast is healthy and delicious. Furthermore the grounds of the house are very very large. I highly recommend the Albracca.

My husband and I have been coming to York for decades and am so thrilled to have discovered the Albracca. We stayed for two nights the first week of August. The inn is exquisite. Our room was huge, beautiful, and extremely quiet with great air conditioning during an extreme heat wave. The inn and grounds are gorgeous with lots of sitting areas. ||The lovely owner made a full breakfast each morning with a variety of additional choices including fresh berries, yogurt, breads and scones with an assortment of jellies. I was even given a dairy-free yogurt to accommodate my allergies. So nice.
