Bittersweet Bed & Breakfast

This was our second stay here. Our hosts Victor and Ray are fantastic. They really make your stay welcome and relaxing. Great breakfast each morning. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We are looking forward to going back.

Upon arriving at this fabulous bed-and-breakfast in York Maine, we were greeted with a wonderful smile and they couldn’t do enough to make sure that our stay was made to be a wonderful time. Our bed was comfortable and bedroom was very clean as well as the bathroom. Our breakfast the next morning was quickly greeted with freshly baked muffins and they went out of their way to make a pumpkin loaf. The breakfast was delicious. Coffee was great!! The eggs and bacon were superior. We would highly recommend the Bittersweet Bed -and-Breakfast in York, Maine to all travelers. We simply had an outstanding experience.

The place is beautiful and spotless. Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. Beds are comfortable. Very good location: walking distance to beaches and restaurants. The owners are super nice and accomodating. I highly recommend to anyone seekng a quiet beautiful place to relax.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Cozy and inviting, with a wrap-around porch where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the hummingbirds dart about. It’s obvious that this is a labor of love for the owners who take care of every detail. We look forward to returning soon.

Ray and Victoer were great hosts. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was just right. Eggs, bacon and excellent blueberry muffins. We were in the fountain room and it was very peaceful listening to it in the evening. Close enough to Ogunquit for an easy visit, yet far enough away to not deal with the crowds. Also close to Nubble Lighthouse.
