Check in easy! We felt very welcome. We were alerted to our room being ready long before actual check in time. The room was fabulous! Our balcony was over the water. We were able to watch the lobster/fishing boats go out at sunrise. And the sunrises and sunsets were made to order! Breakfasts were incredible! Whatever you could think of…pancakes, eggs Benedict, French toast, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, and REALLY good coffee. And many other options. The fireplace in our room set a warm and glowing mood. This was our 3rd stay and we will be back.
I loved it here, peaceful and picturesque. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view. The grounds and nearby area make for wonderful walks/rides and scenic views. The breakfasts and offerings at the inn and their on-site restaurants were most satisfying. Staff at the inn and restaurants were uniformly friendly and helpful. We've been to Maine many times and have never had a better overall experience. My one and only suggestion would be for the innkeepers to find a way to discourage the occasional geese flock from soiling the gorgeous lawn areas. Otherwise, I'm all in on this place.
We were blessed to stay in room 110 it is its own unit and faces the water awesome view, had refrigerator no coffee maker. Great hot water , they serve coffee in the main house at 6 am and breakfast at 8 am awesome food , we didn't get it eat at the restaurant because it was closed due to a wedding they were preparing for. Service at breakfast was great , we didn't have maids because I later found out that you dont get maid service on a four night stay. Just 5 , but they did bring us fresh towels whenever we asked.
Dockside Inn is fabulous. Very authentic atmosphere with views that will take your breath away (especially in the Fall). Delicious homemade breakfasts & a wonderful restaurant right next door. Love the mini-condos and different styles too.
My wife and I stayed here for just 2 nights last week. It was a last minute decision to go to the Coast due to impending hot weather. The Dockside Guest Quarters was truly a serendipitous find, and we were lucky to get a reservation. They are booked nearly full for the remainder of summer. I say serendipitous, because what a find (thanks to my wife). The location is superb. The grounds are fabulous. Our room was exquisite for its overall location and charm. The day manager noted it was by far her favorite for a couple. One could see the Atlantic from Bed. I got up just before sunrise on our last day, stepped out to the deck and watched a beautiful sunrise over the Harbor. The breakfast was excellent. All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The other guests we encoun
