Yamatos Japanese Restaurant

They gave us used take out boxes and the food was horrible. My kid got chicken nuggets and fries and they were hard as a rock. He could barely chew them. We also got chicken and it was horrible. The food in general just wasn't good. They definitely WONT be seeing my family again.

Had pork dumplings for appetizer & steak & chicken with rice & vegetables. Food is good but not exceptional. Service was efficient but our server has a stale personality & no smiles. Atmosphere is "just ok". Restrooms could use a good cleaning & update.

My partner and I went on a Friday evening in mid-December and were seated right away. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and tasted okay. It wasn't the best hibachi grill food, but it was decent for the area.

Great Japanese restaurant that offers take-out and dine in. Today I ordered Double Steak for the lunchtime portion. It was delicious and steak, my side order of vegetables (zucchini, onions, carrots, and broccoli), along with the rice were all cooked to perfection. I always order my steak "well done" and it is cooked well done and tender. So here are some tips to remember for those with food allergies or sensitivities, because Yamatos is very accommodating when you let them know you have an allergy and cannot have certain items. For those with a shrimp allergy, always let them know when placing the order because the dinner time entree portion includes an appetizer of a few grilled shrimp. Also make sure to let them know if you have an egg allergy, because they cook an egg in with the rice.

Generous portions. Some items served warmer than others. Nice veggies on side. Gyoza app very good. Attentive service. Table & bathroom needed better cleaning.
