Had a great dinner experience at Pacos. A great compliment to the atmosphere created by our 'small large family' gathered. Shared a few dishes with others, enjoyed the sampling of the grilled octopus, fried pork chunks.. and another dish, think it was fish. Will visit again when back in South Boston.

Excellent food! The chef / owner "Paco" [Francisco Arrocha] came and talked to my wife and I. He shared his life's journey and passion for being a true entrepeneur. He has vast experience selling and marketing fresh garlic (while living in Spain and Miami, Fla.); and Francisco is also growing chestnut trees, while promoting an annual, local chestnut festival in November. Francisco is a kind, Christian man, along with his wife; and they are serving South Boston, Va. as a great team. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed their culinary Spanish seafood dishes along with fantastic desserts. This restaurant is a warm and comfortable place to truly experience dishes from Spain and Cuba. We highly recommend this restaurant; and we look forward to returning often. It is worth the cos

Absolutely amazing! I can't think of any critique. The salad, tapas, and entree were amazing. We tried the bacon wrapped dates, stuffed with Bleu cheese and mushroom croquettes. Both amazing. Then my wife had the lamb shank, with apricot reduction on the side of the plate, and I tried the grouper. I love Paco! The man is an artist. At the end of the meal I had the best espresso shot I've ever had. Everyone on the staff checked on us. Excellent service. Excellent dining experience. Would highly recommend.

The food here is absolutely incredible. So flavorful, clearly made by people who love the art of cooking. The yucca was simple but delicious, and the mussels were so amazing. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fried sweet plantains were so good. I have zero complaints about anything! Service was attentive, and Paco was great to meet! Thank you so much for exceeding our expectations!! I wish I could come every day- definitely worth traveling to!

Wonderful dinner of bruttata salad, red snapper and crema Catalano (dessert). Portion sizes were generous as well. We will be back! Excellent value for a meal that included wine, main courses, and dessert!
