Beck's Bar and Grill

I ordered 2 hamburger steak meals with gravy for $40 and I had no gravy and the hamburger was burnt!!! Called them and sent a photo still haven't heard from them yet!! Had the nerve to ask me if I ate the gravy. smh Then asked for a photo I sent that and still haven't heard from them yet. I would not recommend this place!!!

Full slab of ribs with their BBQ sauce was tough but sauce was alright. Unlike the ribs my husband makes with the pressure cooker, the ribs at Becks lacks taste without the sauce. Catfish bites were expensive for the quantity. The veggies were minimal and soggy. I hope this meal isn't indicative of their ability to make delicious food. It definitely doesn't promote return customers.

I went out to eat in my hometown with family. I was told Beck's was a good place to grab food. It is a nice sized place for a bar & grill located in a small strip mall. The bartenders were nice. I'm not really a beet drinker. They had Bud Light and Stella on tap. I followed my uncle's lead and ordered a Stella. The menu was not overwhelming. It offered a good variety of foods. They had unique appetizers for a small town. Cheese Curds, Fried Pickle Spears, and Catfish Bites stood out. We ordered an order of Cheese Curds and an order of Catfish Bites. They were hot and very good. The curds taste like mozzarella sticks but smaller and with less of a cheese pull. The catfish was lightly breaded, hot, and tasted fresh. I contemplated between the Southern Balogna Burger and the Classic Hot Dogs

I wanted chicken wings so I decided to go to a bar restaurant. I got the lemon pepper wings. The were dry, overcooked, had chicken feathers, cold, and tasted like they were battered in salt. I did not sent them back, but choked them down as I hadn't eaten all day. I was very disappointed.

My husband loves the bologna burger and fries so I pick up food on occasion when I'm in the area. They are always pretty busy when I pick up the food but they are friendly and my food is always ready quick. I decided to get the club but was a little disappointed in that, it was basic, no double-deckers like other restaurants and was not my cup of tea. The prices are pretty good and I'll be going back, but will be trying something else. If you like bologna, try the bologna burger.
