Yama Sushi

A hidden gem in Ellicott City! We went to Yama Sushi today and I’m honestly blown away. We tried the Spicy King Roll, Butterfly Roll, and Columbia Roll. All fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The owner even brought out a sample of seared salmon belly, and it was out of this world! The service was just as amazing as the food. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. I can’t believe I’ve lived in HoCo this long and never tried Yama Sushi before. It’s officially my new favorite sushi spot! Highly recommend for anyone who loves great sushi and great people.

Service was so friendly!! Angel was our server. She greeted us as soon as we came in. Food was authentic Japanese food. Sushi salmon roll was superb! Perfect amount of rice rolled with Salmon, and Avacado. Atmosphere was very relaxing, calm and Japanese flair. Loved it and will come back!! Having lived in Japan for four years! Sushi roll took me back to Yokosuka Japan!! You have to go and enjoy 😊

This place is a constant for my wife and I for the past 7 years and we have been coming here since before then. We always get our food fast and the sushi is always fresh and tasty. We love the lobster roll and the sweetheart roll the best. I always order the seaweed salad and my wife enjoys the dressing on the house salad. It’s a great intimate setting and there’s always parking! Perfect for work lunches, date night and even if you’re flying solo. Great service, great food, great times.

This was an Uber Eats delivery order. Good portions, everything tasted fresh. Packaging kept food at right temperature and bag can be reused.

I've been here twice now, and each time has been a great experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service is top. The food is absolutely delicious, and the presentation is just as impressive. This sushi spot is definitely worth a visit.
