Boro Kabob

We’ve been won over thoroughly! We waited somewhat impatiently for this to open for YEARS and it was worth the wait. The attention to detail is apparent from the decor, to the spices and flavors, and even down to the perfectly sized takeout containers that fit like a glove into the reusable bags. Our family came for lunch on a Monday, and the service was top notch, attentive and caring. We ordered the mezza platter with four dips and especially loved the eggplant and hummus. We also chose the felafel platter, chicken shawarma platter and the chicken kabob platter. Each were nicely spiced, and perfectly cooked—especially the chicken which was moist and flavorful, with just the right amount of char. I had the opportunity to try Boro Kabob, a newly opened halal restaurant in Ellicott City, and I was pleasantly surprised. The place has a beautiful lounge-style setup with a few high tables near the entrance—very clean, modern, and the interior décor is quite catchy. For the family, I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Wrap and the Lamb Wrap. Both were excellent! What I loved most is that the food wasn’t overly spicy, yet still had all the authentic Mediterranean flavors. The white sauce and fries served with the wraps were delicious as well. I also have to mention their takeaway bag—colorful, trendy, and really adds to the overall experience. Small details like that make a big impression. Next time, I definitely want to dine in and enjoy the full experience at the restaurant. Highly recommend

Food was excellent and service was amazing. We will be back soon to eat in! Restaurant is super clean and inviting, and the chicken shawarma, side salad, kobideh kabab and hummus were all exceptional.

Oh my goodness- we just had the most flavorful, filling, wonderful dinner here with friends! Such big portions and great for sharing and making your own combinations of meats, sauces, rice, etc. Every single thing we ate was 10/10 and the service was amazing- so attentive, kind, and friendly. Seriously, what a gem of a place! I didn’t even take pictures of the food because I was too busy happily eating!

10/10, no notes! Everything we tried on the menu from the mirzaghasemi, to bandari, to kabobs to ghorme sabzi was all sooo good (and I’m Persian so I came with high expectations!!). Highly recommend! Raha was such a sweetheart and made the experience 1000 times better. We’ll be back soon!
