Had an amazing brunch at Wilson County BBQ. It was such a treat to enjoy some authentic Southern-style food. I ordered the chicken and waffles along with the pork belly Benedict, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the waffles paired perfectly with it. The pork belly Benedict was rich, savory, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was great and it’s really nice to find a place that brings a taste of Southern comfort food to the area. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I would highly recommend Wilson County BBQ for brunch if you’re craving hearty, flavorful Southern dis
Great atmosphere, amazing fried chicken! Two adults had fried chicken dinners with two sides each, and blueberry biscuits, with bottled drinks, and desert for ~$70. Definitely bringing friends here.
Excellent vibe, spacious, lots of different seating options. Great beer selection, incl cheap beer. Fried chicken sandwich is solid, not amazing. Fries great. Staff good, easy to order, went when it was empty.
Stopped by to grab a few beers and some BBQ! Great local beer selection with a few not-so-local beers, as well. Tons of space and a great patio area. Our server Joe was super friendly and great. The burnt ends were spectacular. Literal melt in your mouth with just the right amount of sauce. You get so much food with a meal. The main, 2 sides, and either hush puppies or a biscuit. Always go with the hush puppies—it is a BBQ place after all. The Mac and cheese was a little dry, but everything else made up for it. The chicken and dumpling soup was unexpectedly good, considering I’ve never gotten soup at a BBQ place. Will definitely be back!
All I can say is WOW. No frills here. Ordered the shrimp platter. Comes with TEN HUGE fried shrimp, two sides and a choice of hush puppies or biscuit. $20 for all of this. Easily the best $20 I’ve ever spent. This place is not your average restaurant, it is a seat yourself place. You go up to the counter and order, and then wait for and grab your food. Personally I really loved this aspect of the restaurant. It created an air of causality and a laid back atmosphere. The man who took our order was extremely friendly and asked about our weekend plans. He seemed truly happy to serve us. For reference, we came at noon on a friday and plenty of tables were open. Some parking is available in the back but don’t rely on having a spot. This place is definitely a must try and I will be back!
