Falafel Mafia Food Truck

The Falafel Mafia food truck is right near the water, which makes it a perfect lunch or dinner spot! While visiting Portland, I ended up here twice because (a) the food is great and (b) it's a really nice atmosphere in which to eat it. I got the Chicken Shawarma Bowl (pictured here after I took a few bites because I forgot to take the pic first). It was DELICIOUS. By far the best chicken shawarma bowl I've ever had. Ordering was fairly quick and easy, and the wait for the food wasn't too bad. There are picnic tables nearby but also plenty of grass for picnic blankets, etc. Highly recommend!

Today was my first visit. It was pure heaven. I almost cried. I got the mafia bowl. The falafel was moist and crispy.The cucumber salad was the best cucumber saladI've ever had with lots of acid and dill.The beets were spiced, seasoned and cooked perfectly.The lettuce had a beautiful dressing on it and the hummus was so creamy and good. The combination of bites and was just so wonderful.We had been to a super fancy meal the night before, and this beat it by a mile, i'm going back tomorrow !!!! Luv u guys. Thank you so much!!!!!!!

We stumbled upon this food truck when we left the children's museum today, and this was an excellent sandwich! I got the crispy chicken pita with cucumber, coleslaw, crispy breaded chicken, garlic sauce and mango sauce. It comes with pickles but they were excluded. I highly recommend! The shawarma seasoned fries were great, too!
