Wasabi Bistro

Got take out here the Sunday night. Food was high quality ingredients. Two gentlemen were rolling sushi 7 rolls were prepared very quickly. The salmon sashimi were two pieces and very large pieces. Miso soup was good! The rolls were packed with fish and I will be coming back.

Random stop for quick sashimi. Literally pointed to the first place on my way with 4.5 rating. More of a take out place i guess but you can eat in. Can probably sit 8-10 families. Maybe even good for a private event if you close the place down. Off 287. Has 8 parking spots. I ordered sashimi appetizer - fish was fresh but portions of the fish were small. I guess because it’s appetizer. One piece of fish (see video) had some black residue on it (my guess skin) my didnt look appealing so i didnt touch it - hence my 4 star and not 5 star rating. Also (purely out if greed) ordered their special cali roll. Didnt realize it was hot as in warm… tasted ok but too much sauce of mayo for my taste. A cozy little gem in Boonton. My wife and I stopped into Wasabi Bistro for a Saturday lunch and had a great experience. The vibe is warm and inviting—nothing fancy or over-the-top, just really comfortable and welcoming. Service was great. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. I went with the sushi + sashimi lunch special and it was delicious. My wife had the ginger chicken lunch box which came with a mix of things (see pics)—also really tasty and a great value. We’ll definitely be returning.

looking for sushi in town? look no further. i’m so glad Wasabi Bistro has miso eggplant on their menu. plus, the sushi is always fresh.
