Our regular deli wasn't open - we needed our Sloppy Joe's. It was amazing-from the fresh bread to perfect care in making. Don has new customers and our old deli should have stayed open later.

The food was very good. Sloppy joes are absolutely phenomenal. Ruben was amazing. Subs were completely on par. The rye used for the sloppy joes and Reubens was soft and flavorful and not overbearing. The sub rolls were quite soft which made for a pleasant surprise. Personally I don't like rolls that are too hard or crusty that obliterate the roof of your mouth. The bread here is exceptional. Owners were so pleasant and thoughtful. Catered to my many requests because I wanted to try a little bit of everything. They make mini sandwiches here as well so it makes it easy to sample a lot. Despite living in the area for longer than the 42 years that this shop has existed in its current location, this was my first time visiting. I would strongly recommend this place. Dons is the best sand which place in town! They give you GENEROUS portions with delicious sliced meat and pack them! Pat and Elizabeth are always kind and quick and knowledgeable! I love their subs my go to is (ham, double bacon, pepperoni, American cheese, tomato, onion) with a bag of chips! The prices are so affordable! BEST subs in town!
