A longstanding local favorite. The sandwiches are packed high and the ingredients are always fresh. Prices are great. Beyond the food, it’s the sense of community that makes this place special and the staff greet you like family.
I'm originally from New Jersey and anytime I go home I HAVE to visit Olde Towne Deli. Their Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches are absolutely unbeatable, and it's great chatting with everyone behind the counter. They're truly all fabulous people. It's family owned, always open when you need them to be, and there's plenty of parking out back or on the street. I'd go there every day if I still lived in NJ.
I love Olde Towne Deli! The staff is very friendly and happy! Everything is baked fresh and is so delicious! It’s cash only but that’s okay! Service was amazing and quick! I really enjoyed my sausage bacon egg and cheese! All their pastries were also amazing. So fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor! Highly recommend!
Old Towne is one of those hole in the wall places you could easily drive by every day and miss (which I did for years). I found it by looking on Google Maps for good places to eat and I'm just sorry I didn't find it sooner. Let me start by saying the cheesesteak is a work of art. The taylor ham, egg, and cheese gets a ton of love here, which it deserves because it may very well be the best in NJ, but the cheesesteak is my favorite. Everything in it is great from the tender thin slices of steak, to the marinated peppers and onions, to the cheese that is mixed in perfectly, to the soft bread that soaks in all the flavors of the ingredients. I get the large size for lunch and save half for later. To top it off, the staff here is extremely nice and great to talk with. If you're ever in the are
I came here once before when visiting my mother ages ago and remembered it being good, but I came the other day to bring a taste of jersey back to maryland for my fiancé and good lord I need to make a point of coming here every visit to boonton 😱 I had a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese for breakfast and it did not disappoint, especially with the ooey gooey cheese 🤤 I had half an Italian sub for lunch and the other half for lunch the next day, and it was essentially the perfect sub in every way, and it wasn’t all soggy and gross the next day either! As I was watching the employees work and saw the line grow and grow, I decided to get a chicken salad sandwich as well bc it’s hard to find a good one and yup…I found it. Seasoned perfectly and ADD BACON! Takes it to the next level. Bread was clea
