Customer Reviews
One of this things I wanted to do while visiting this town was to stop here. They have a good selection of flavors and even offer vegan options. Staff was friendly and engaging. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I know some of the the reviews mentioned the prices are steep but I didn't find them too be too expensive. They even have a machine that you can put cash and get a prepaid card since seem to no accept cash but I paid by card so not sure if that true. I decided to try the peanut butter brownie honeycomb and it was delicious. They seem to get a steady steam of customers and their service was consistent. Overall my experience was good definitely reccomend if your in the area.
Van Leeuwen doesn’t skimp on creaminess. Whether you go for a classic like Honeycomb or a quirky release like coffee & pistachio , the mouthfeel is velvety and dense — more like gelato than your average supermarket pint. The flavors are bold and unapologetic, sometimes bordering on experimental
I’m so excited that Van Leeuwen has chosen to open their first suburban location in Greenwich! Their ice cream is fantastic, and we loved our raspberry layer cake and pumpkin cheesecake waffle cones. Even the waffle cones themselves were perfect! I definitely want to try their exclusive flavor with Raphael’s Bakery next time, and the chipwiches look amazing. Their freezer is stocked with pints to take home, and the store is so bright and inviting. We will absolutely be back to satisfy our sweet tooth!
Does not accept cash, which is strange considering their customer base is mainly teenagers. The ice cream is very overpriced, and wayyyy too creamy. The staff are nice though, and I won't complain too much about the style, because thats personal preference, but the credit card thing is super irritating which is why I'm giving Van Leuwan 3 stars
This is our favorite Ice cream ever! We very very excited we got to visit their store! The staff was very nice and friendly, also gave us recommendations! We both ordered Vegan milkshakes and 🤌🏽 Hope they open one in Boston!
