Greenwich Library

The Greenwich Library was absolutely beautiful. I visited for the morning and was a little disappointed in the lack of toys/stimulation for my 2 and 3 year old in their children's section. There were only a few wall-mounted puzzles. I did think the two little trains were cute for my kids to sit in, but that was about it. The cafe was a nice change of scenery. Everyone we interacted with were very kind.

The staff here is wonderful - especially Dean! They always help me reserve private rooms for last minute zoom calls & meetings, which I greatly appreciate. Some of the cleanest, well maintained public spaces in town & there’s even a little cafe downstairs for lunch & coffee. It’s fabulous!

One of the more beautiful and elegant libraries. It is spacious, staff is helpful and there is a great cafe downstairs that is run by people with disabilities. Great community resource!

Absolutely one of the best libraries I’ve ever visited. It is beautiful and open. Has a great cafe where you can sit and take calls in case you need to speak and many accessible study and reading areas. There is also a Bloomberg terminal which can be used for research and study rooms can be pre booked. The staff and volunteers are always helpful and kind. They assist you in getting the best solution for your needs and help you get study rooms or quiet rooms if you have any important meeting event. Absolutely stunning library. Would recommend visiting and working from here.

Good library. Wish they would fix the buttons on the elevator which have been barely functional for years. Do have one gripe: at any point in time at least 40% of the cars in the usually full parking lot have NY license plates. If the vehicles are registered in NY, these people presumably live in NY (unless they are falsifying their registrations to avoid CT property taxes). Don’t these New Yorkers have public libraries in their own towns? I get it, it’s a public library, but the vast majority (80%) of the library’s funding comes from the Town of Greenwich. So Greenwich taxpayers are subsidizing New Yorkers. And again, the percentage of NY plates especially on weekdays is about 40%+. If it were 10-15% I wouldn’t say anything but 40%+ is absurd. Finally, if these are people parking here
