My wife and I have stayed at Stanton House a number of times over the years, and each visit gets better. Stanton House is a beautifully appointed classic bed and breakfast that has so much to offer on so many levels. The staff are always improving the rooms and the comfort level. We once again enjoyed a room on the second floor that overlooks the front yard. It's beginning to feel like "our room" as the decor, the amenities and comfort level are perfect for us. We're from Florida so we were happy that we were able to keep the room warm. This visit to Stanton House was extra special because of Vish who made us feel like family returning home. He is the model of hospitality and could not have been more helpful with all of our needs and answering our questions, serving the delicious br

wow. just wow. it was a pleasure staying at Stanton. every morning when I come down for breakfast, there is just the freshest and most inclusive selection of food, very suitable for everyone. everyone greets you and welcomes you to the property when you first check in, and throughout the stay, everything and everyone is perfect. it is an incredible change to meet new people through the welcoming environment. great pool and outdoor seating as well. i've been back every summer.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Stanton House Inn, and it was the perfect peaceful escape. The entire property has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. My room was wonderful—quiet, comfortable, and very cozy. I particularly loved having a side entrance; it provided a sense of privacy and convenience that made the stay feel much more personal than a typical hotel. After a busy season of hard work, this was exactly the kind of calm environment I needed to recharge. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the location is ideal—tucked away on a quiet street but just a short stroll from Greenwich Avenue. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a high-quality, tranquil getaway!

The Stanton House Inn, is a perfectly located hotel, surrounded by trees and just a short walk from Greenwich town. The bedrooms while all different (I know because I’m a return customer), are all spacious, traditional and well furnished and the beds comfortable. The included breakfast is delicious and includes an assortment of cereals, bagels, muffins, and custom choices from, frittatas and eggs, to delicious avocado on toast. Snacks and soft drinks, also included in your stay, are available all day and night. Enjoy the newspapers, magazines and books provided in the reading rooms. The staff are all friendly and available for suggestions, whether for exploring the neighborhood or visiting a nearby restaurant. I love this homey Inn and look forward to returning again.

We have family and friends in the greater New York area, so Stanton House has been our base of operations—for family visits, engagements with friends, and yes even the occasional romantic getaway:)—for several years. Every stay has been satisfying, because SHI offers just the right mix of privacy and service: enough care to keep one comfortable but never so much as to be in one's face. Lately, however, SHI has risen from merely “good” to solidly “great” in our estimation. Our last visit coincided with the big snowstorm in the last weekend of January, so what began as a whirlwind of social activity ended in two days of staycation as we waited out the storm.
