Umeke Market

Writing this review as I'm trying their food, because it's that good. Healthy options, generous portions, friendly people, even their take-out boxes are 100% bamboo. A no-frills vegan eatery as it should be. I would come here every day if I lived here. And bring every person I know.

If I could give Umeke Market a higher rating I would! I came across them when searching for vegan food on vacation and was blown away by how flavorful and creative each dish was! It was so good I made sure to come back again before my flight home. Definitely would recommend stopping here for breakfast or lunch, you will not be disappointed!

Been here multiples times now, This place is heaven for plant-based eaters that’s actually healthy for you! Don’t have to worry about it all being fake meats! We love that they create recipes mainly based on local, organic and actual WHOLE foods. We loved everything we tried! Everything tasted homemade and not from packages. Also great customer service, Thank you!!

I typically don't seek out Vegetarian restaurants but I heard good things and wanted to check them out. I ordered the soup and salad and was very surprised how much I enjoyed it. The detox soup was excellent and would definitely recommend eating here if you're looking for something healthier during lunchtime downtown.

The staff were super cool; and once my friend disclosed his gluten allergy, he made sure to reiterate what items were cleared. I don’t have a gluten allergy and ordered nachos topped with chili and mock chicken. The “chicken” had a bit of sweetness to the batter, the chili was delicious, and the other sauces and toppings brought together a unique flavor for nachos. These were some of the best nachos I’ve had! The portion was huge; enough for two to share! I’ll definitely stop by Umeke on a future trip to the city.
