Great food truck experience. Kalbi super tender and tasty, savory and not too sweet. Dumplings light and flavorful. All with friendly service and nice extra touches (extra wet napkin, offer of more rice).

If you are anywhere near Ala Moana in Honolulu, you need to try Kai K Food Korean Food Truck. Hands down, this was the best food I had on the island. We ordered the Bulgogi, Kalbi, Tteokbokki, dumplings, and the side dishes, and every single dish was incredible. The Bulgogi was tender and packed with flavor, the Kalbi was perfectly cooked and rich, the Tteokbokki had the perfect balance of spice and comfort, and the dumplings were fresh and absolutely delicious. You can immediately tell this is authentic Korean food made with pride. Every bite felt like real home-style cooking, and the quality honestly surprised me for a food truck. We had the Beef Prime Rib (Kalbe) steamed dumplings and BBQ chicken and they were bomb!! The owners are so kind! If you like Korean food then this is a must stop!! We stopped here multiple times durning our trip!

Food is so good, and the lady is soooo sweet. Reminds me of my grandma the beef short ribs where fantastic.

As someone who has been to Korea and many other Asian countries I've come to really like again food. However, this has to be by far the best Bulgogi I've ever had. The conversation i had was also extremely welcoming and honestly its what sold me in the beginning and now I definitely plan to come back and try everything else
