Twelve

Okay. This is my favorite restaurant EVER and I don't say that lightly. The staff is so kind. It's the kind of service that makes you feel genuinely taken care of, not judged or rushed. The vibe is upscale but comfortable, which is such a rare combo. It's nice without feeling pretentious. And the food??? Unreal. Every single thing we ordered was amazing. One of those meals where you're already planning your next visit before you leave. Forever recommending this place.

We went there for Maine restaurant week. It’s hard to reserve a seat especially in summer time. It’s so excited to get the right time to reserve 2 seats in Maine restaurant week. We enjoyed the bar seats. In Maine restaurant week, they had special 3-course meal menus ($58/each) and pairing wines ($30/each). 3 courses with 3 different flavors wines, very incredible! I love the pairing white wine pairing the green salad, and the chocolate flavor wine pairing with the chocolate dessert. Strongly recommend it, if you can get a table or bar seats March 1~12th.

This restaurant offers a wonderfully upscale atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable evening. We tried the prix fixe menu, and both the appetizers and main courses were absolutely delicious beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The only disappointing part of the meal was the dessert from the prix fixe selection, which felt a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the dishes. One rare highlight was the nonalcoholic Rośe toast we got, we don’t usually find nonalcoholic wines in most restaurants Thankfully, we were celebrating our marriage, and the staff surprised us with a tres leches cake. It was outstanding moist, rich, and everything the standard dessert wasn’t. That thoughtful gesture truly elevated the night. Aside from the one dessert hiccup, everything about our evening

I dined solo at Twelve for my birthday dinner while visiting Portland and it was absolutely incredible! I sat at the chef’s counter and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the banana bourbon and autumn bourbon cocktail, both of which were the best I had while in Maine. I was ecstatic to see a warm lobster roll on the menu and the croissant as a bun was over the top. I ordered a poached pear dessert and was gifted the most amazing slice of cake with a candle for my birthday. I highly recommend visiting Twelve for any special occasion or simply celebrating life!

Cocktails 5/5 Highlight the rum clove cocktail. Even before taking a sip you can taste the aroma as the drink approaches your lips ! Amazing Appetizer: 5/5 Amazing appetizer , it was great having someone from the kitchen come to your table to walk you through the dish 5/5 service ! Main dish: 5/5 Again service was amazing , steak cooked to perfection , scallop amazing and the sauce omg! If people weren’t looking I would drink the leftover sauce but I didn’t because I’m classy. Sweets : 5/5 Look I don’t typically get a sweet potato cake but the person at the bar gave us the Rec and it was so good. Glad we tried something we normally would not have gotten. We come to Portland quite a few times and love all the well knows restaurants here but this might be the only restaurant I would actuall
