Toyama Japanese Restaurant

Took my daughter for her birthday. The service was great, and the food was tasty. Our waitress even stopped to help my daughter with the chopsticks. Just give a fork so I don't starve. Would suggest for a good meal. Was told the sushi was very good.

I usually call, place order, pickup and eat at home but today, I called to place my order and asked can I eat the food there. Arrived, they told me where to sit, salad and meso soup arrived within 2 minutes and our entree arrived 2 to 3 minutes after that. The food and the service was excellent. Even tried the fried cheese cake for the first time. Delicious! Japanese hibachi filet mignon, salad dressing and soup is probably the best I ever had. Very friendly personnel and excellent food! We ordered via website, arrived to pickup order, was able to use Google Pay to pay the bill! After placing your order online, you will receive a confirmation text message and email.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner. We had to wait aboit 10 minutes to be seated. I would reccomend a reservation, especially if you have a larger group. I got the tempura shrimp and my husband got the spicy trio of sushi. We both really enjoyed our meals. The ginger dressing and yum yum sauce were yummy! Our waitress quickly brought our waters and menus. She returned and took our orders. Our miso soup and my salad were brought out very quickly. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our main meal, but they were very busy. We visited on a Saturday evening. There is street parking available.

No frills Japanese restaurant that I have been completely & truly enjoying since BEFORE 9/11. The ambience has never changed & I take great comfort in walking in and ordering the steaming miso soup, a side salad, tempura veggies & my most favored dish. It's akin to visiting an old friend you haven't seen in awhile, and you pick up right where you left off! Service is very prompt, courteous and always helpful if you're interested in trying a dish or side you've never tasted before. All emphasis is on the cuisine(succulent, & truly authentic) and the ever stellar service. No matter if I sit at the sushi bar, dine in, or take out, the food is always what I seem to need & ever delectable!

Best sushi in EC. Don't waste your time and money at the other place. Their boat is a cruise ship. And consistent. The fish is as fresh as you're going to get for sashimi in the middle of nowhere. They stay busy because they're good.
