Culpepper Inn

What a wonderful hidden gem. We stayed in the French room, deco was spot on and beautiful. Anyone coming down here, please check it out. Great coffee in the room. Owner made us feel welcome. Overall a great experience.

My first time at the inn. Couldn’t have been more delighted with my stay. Was in the Gold Room. Very very clean, comfortable, well decorated, homey, and just overall a wonderful place to sleep. Better price than some of the cheaper hotels so well worth it! Too bad it wasn’t cool enough to use the working fireplace. Great location too.

2nd time staying here, (6 months apart). Absolutely love this place. The owners have good old fashioned American values and it shows with their attention to detail of their beautiful Inn. The rooms are clean, quiet and have nice amenities. This will probably be the only place I’ll ever stay in Elizabeth City. Thank you Mike and Holly!

The Culpepper is a beautiful inn. The grounds are very colorful…all types of flowers were blooming. The accommodations were very nice and clean, and there were many offerings available for breakfast. We had a wonderful stay. We can HIGHLY recommend.

Wonderful room and very clean. Beautiful garden outside our room. Owners are very friendly and informative. Great location.. easy access to restaurants and downtown . We will be back.
