Totally Thai

First time trying Totally Thai and I’m impressed. I ordered the pork dumpling appetizer (first time ever having something like that) and it was SO good. Super savory with this sweet sauce that just tied it all together. I could’ve easily eaten another order. For my main dish I went with the classic chicken pad Thai to kind of “test” the place, and wow — it was killer. The flavor was spot on. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I got medium heat and it had a great kick without being over the top. Enough heat to feel it, but not so much that you regret it five minutes later. Everything tasted fresh and really well made. Easy 5 out of 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back.

We decided to give this place a try after hearing good things about their food. I got the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and mild spice, my husband got the Combination Fried Rice with mild spice. We also got an order of the chicken spring rolls to share. The spring rolls were delicious and we really liked the sauce that came with them. We decided to get mild spice as opposed to the other options, as this was our first time having Thai food and I have heard that it can be pretty spicy. We both enjoyed our fried rice, but agreed that there wasn't a lot of flavor. Now this could be on us for requesting mild spice and not asking for any extra sauces. Small Thai place in Elizabeth City, not too far from ECSU, but they have good portions and friendly staff. They also have specials that are fun to try. Hope to try the drinks sometime!

Very good quality thai in a very unsuspecting spot. It's decorated very cute, and the young waitress who took care of us was great and attentive. I noticed her also going The extra mile for a table of older women who didn't know what any of the dishes were and she explained everything great and helped guide them into making a delicious decision. The portions were huge, and the flavors were rich and complex. They had all the fan favorites, as well as a few id never seen before but look forward to trying. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

The food here is so authetic and delicious. I love trying new dishes and the mango rice was to die for. The prices are great and the people are amazing. They were so nice to my little girl and even gave her some little gifts. They have handmade authentic thai gifts and trinkets from over seas. The owner is so nice and so proud as she should be. We live an hour and a half away or we would be there every other day.
