Best Mexican food in Oahu Breakfast burrito was AMAZING. Perfect delicious and crispy in some parts. Yummmm Wow I could eat this for breakfast lunch and dinner - they’re chicken and fish tacos are always delicious as well. Pretty much come here weekly and I’m never disappointed
I’m super picky about tacos (ask anyone) and a friend from LA swore this was her favorite spot on Oahu so obviously I had to try it. The interior is cute, the environment is laid-back, and the staff was beyond helpful (especially with my long list of food allergies). I ended up getting the pollo asado and camarones tacos - both on fresh corn tortillas with cabbage, onion, cilantro, and a side of their incredible homemade salsas + pickled red onion. The shrimp had the perfect texture (not rubbery or overcooked 🤌🏽) and the chicken was juicy and super flavorful! Honestly, the salsas alone are worth the trip! My friend went for the baja fish tacos and the weekend special birria tacos and said they were hands-down his favorite on the island so far. My only wish? Bigger meat portions but flavo
I got 3 carne asada burritos and I’m writing my review before I’m even done eating and I might not even finish this burrito. The steak is pretty much inedible, every other bite is either fat or tendon and all 3 burritos are like that. The meat they use is really low quality and considering this was nearly $20 per burrito, it’s a bummer. The cashier was really friendly and helpful. But other than that the burrito itself is extremely disappointing.
Food was so good. I got a burrito (make it wet). It’s huge and I couldn’t stop. Lots of topping options. If you like spicy, you’ll enjoy the selections. The staff is very friendly. We dined in, they were playing enjoyable music, not loudly. I’m definitely going back.
Who can resist $3 street tacos, all day every Tuesday or at happy hour. I've been to this place a couple of times. They have good fish tacos, but my wallet and stomach enjoys $3 street tacos on Tuesdays. Beef, pork, chicken and i think a vegetarian one is your only options. For sauce the red one is delicious with everything. The sauce, lime and pickled onions are all self-serve. Highly recommend. Service was good. The restaurant atmosphere is good for groups and families to dine in. Can be a bit nosy, overall an average local restaurant interior.
