We are so grateful to return to Casa Ybel Resort. The renovations and landscaping are absolutely beautiful. The upper level of Coconuts Bar at Thistle Lodge offers a stunning and uninterrupted view of the shoreline, and we were treated to a glorious sunset. My happy hour crabcake and roasted beet spinach salad were outstanding! We were also delighted to have a delicious dinner at Thistle Lodge our last night on the island. Filet mignon & scallops. My husband said it was the best lobster mac he had ever had, and my Caesar salad was among the best I’ve had anywhere. Thistle Lodge recently reopened and the results are impressive. We had dinner with friends on Christmas eve. Wonderful beach view from the tables. All the staff were great and very accommodating. I ordered sea bass, my wife a seafood pasta, our friends ordered lamb and seafood. All were excellent. Definitely a wonderful experience.

Angela and Jeremiah were hilarious- so welcoming, goofy and lovely. We just had a small snack but they kept us laughing the entire time and the view is incredibly serene. The area is the epitome of tranquility. Will definitely be stopping to have a full meal next time!

Great experience! We sat next to window with amazing view of the gulf at sunset. Fast friendly service. Highlight- experienced bartender Jeremiah made the BEST Pina Colada I have ever tasted all over the world! Five Stars!!!

We had a great time! The service was wonderful and extremely attentive to every need! Omar, the chef truly brings his love of cooking to the forefront with each dish. We had the ahí tuna and shrimp cocktail for starters which were lovely and refreshing. My mom and I shared the filet and Jamaican jerk shrimp and it was delicious with the flavor profile of absolute love! My dad had the scallops with the nightly special risotto which was also fantastic! They are newly reopened and working to do a great job, you’d be sorry not to visit on your trip!
