The Shack of Sanibel

Fantastic little Frozen Custard shop...too many creative combinations to mention let alone build your own flavor combinations! We went with the Sea Turtle and the Sanibel Lighthouse versions. The Sea Turtle is Creamy frozen custard, hot caramel, hot fudge and pecans is one of the best treats ever! The Sanibel Lighthouse is creamy frozen custard, chocolate covered waffle pieces, butterfinger, and hot caramel. Do yourself a favor and swing in if you're in the area!

Extremely helpful and informative staff. Clean location. My wife got a Sundae and my Daughter got their themed Halloween treat. I don’t eat a lot of sweets but enjoyed a small snow cone 🍧 the girls also enjoyed hotdogs, made how they like. 10/10 recommend

Great stop for ice cream on Sanibel! It was less than a five-minute walk from our hotel, which made it super convenient. They offer a flavor of the day, and when we went it was Andes Mint, so delicious, I loved it! We also tried the ice cream cookie sandwich, and you could definitely tell the cookie was homemade. Top 3 ice cream sandwich I ever had probably. It was really good! They have lots of options, so there’s truly something for everyone. Definitely a sweet little spot to check out while you’re on the island!

Yummy custard. They have chocolate or vanilla, or their flavor of the day. Then you can mix in all sorts of things to make it whatever flavor or style you want. They also had about 5 flavors of non dairy oat milk ice cream.

Frozen custard and milkshake were excellent staff very friendly and a great location towards the end of our bike ride.
