Sanibel Beach

So thankful that Sanibel beaches are dog friendly (as long as they are on a six foot leash). The city even had water fountains with dog bowl attachments so your pup can have a fresh drink of water. I do miss the old sand though, pre-Ian! The bussed in stuff just isn’t the same

This beach was absolutely beautiful and we got there just right around low tide and parking was a simple block walk from the beach. Parking was $5 an hour which I feel like is a little steep. But it was a beautiful beach and worth a drive! Seeing shells for miles!

Right now traffic is low . Not only time of year but hurricane rebuild is still going on and low occupancy on the beach. Beach is in good shape. 87° today. Toll to come across the bridge and $5/HR to park. Shoreline right now is loaded with shells.

I went here with my 3 sisters. It was nice here. I enjoyed seeing the different variety of shells. My only complaint was the places to park for the shelling were not clearly indicated and it was extremely windy. 9/10 experience
