Sanibel Public Library

This library is amazing for kids. The staff are so nice, and they have so much to do. I was able to find many books to bring home as well. When we vacation on Sanibel, we go here multiple times per week. They have great events like storytime and crafterday.

What a wonderful library! They have phenomenal a kid:s activity area along with kid's programs, crafts, storytime and more. It's a physically beautiful space with a very friendly and helpful staff! I highly recommend this awesome library

Amazing kids section! I’ve been to a lot of great libraries and this is my favorite kids section so far. We have two small children and visit the library whenever we visit my in laws who live on Sanibel. It’s perfect for getting energy out on a rainy day or after naptime or really anytime. Lots of windows. There’s some water behind the library/next door city hall where you can find, depending on the day, lots of birds, a bald eagle, alligator ,and screech owl, so you can even pair the visit with a quick nature walk. Very kind and helpful librarians too.

What a hidden gem on the Island. Great collection and resources. Very helpful staff.
