The Sandwich Market

There are many new restaurants in town but The Sandwich Market is an institution for Elizabeth City and a must Go when you are in the area. They may look simple but they are definitely made with love and you can taste it!!! A normal place for locals and a great stop destination for travelers!!! The decoration of the restaurant is something different but amazing! I go to EC at least three times per year to visit and each time this must go place for me. The staff is super friendly, they bring up the food to your table and they are just the best people to get food from. I have tried several of their sandwiches and none of them have disappointed me. I have gone with at least 4 other people and all of them loved their sandwiches!!! I highly recommend it 🔥🔥🔥

Drive thru and dining room are available. I chose the drive thru, ordered the smoked turkey panini, asked to hold bacon, cheddar and mayo. Paid via Google pay, tap to pay. Young lady asked me to drive around and drive thru 10 minutes later since there were other cars vehicles behind me in the drive thru. Drove around the building, parked in the parking lot, waited 10 minutes, did the drive thru again, young lady remembered my order, she gave me a brown paper bag with the warm sandwich inside along with chips and a pickle. All the food tasted delicious! Highly recommend this. Hopefully they will invest in a concrete parking lot.

Pretty good. Definitely better than the chains. I got the Dagwood. My wife got the Italian. Hers was better.

They open on Sunday, which is different from the google information, such a nice suggestion with brisket and bbq meal.

Delicious and reasonable! Came in for lunch before going to a training at the recommendation of my co-worker. Glad we came here!
