My husband and I went to The Red Inn to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. Tiago was our server and he provided 5 star service. He made us feel special. In addition to his service the food was delicious. The carrot ginger soup, house salad and scallops were superb while the smoked duck was unbelievable. It was an amazing night and one we hope to repeat soon.

We have typically enjoyed the Red Inn, which you need to book well in advance of your trip. This time, the experience was not the best. The restaurant needs to figure out how to bring air conditioning into the space. It was warm and humid when we went for dinner, but fans in a corner and keeping the doors open does not cut it. It made sitting through the meal uncomfortable. Also, our server was not the best. While we were ready to place all of our order at the start, she insisted we could not do it that way since drinks and food needed to be staggered so she would take each order at different times. Ridiculous. The drinks took a long time to arrive, as did the entrees. I don't mind spending two hours for a leisurely meal or spending a lot, but based on this experience, we will think twice

Unfortunately this felt like a canteen experience. The tables were too close together and why would any decent chef want their customers to be eating in the dark. I left my phone at the hotel and could barely see the menu. Apparently this is romantic! The service was mediocre in the extreme with both my husband and myself being corrected by the waitress. It appears that they know better what their clientele want. The food was ok if overpriced and as soon as we said we didn't want a dessert our bill arrived with no option for coffee or liquors. This restaurant has the opportunity to be fabulous but my experience was quite the opposite. I should also add that our bill was $275 dollars for 2 including 2 glasses of wine

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we came for their amazing happy hour! Be sure to get there right at 2 o’clock if you do not have a reservation, as it fills up very fast. Their oysters are only $1.75 apiece and they are fantastic! We also sliders and fries and they didn’t disappoint either. Antonio, our server was such a wonderful host and we really enjoyed being with him. If you get a little chilly they have blankets they can pass around if you’re sitting outside. The Red Inn is not to be missed for the raw bar happy hour. Cannot wait to come back!

We dine at The Red Inn every time we visit, and it never disappoints. On our most recent trip, we had the roast chicken, which was absolutely delightful. The service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is truly special. Highly recommend!
