The Rabbit Hole

This is the coolest little restaurant. Definitely in my top 5 all time. The place is FILLED with all kinds of signs and memorabilia from National Parks, National Forest, campgrounds and all sorts of other places. It has a cool little grotto and a cozy has fireplace that you can sit right in front of. It also has outdoor seating that looks down towards the railroad and in the cool season they have clear bubble tents that you can get in and eat outside comfortably. The staff are super friendly and charismatic and the food is great! Such a cool spot and so happy that we found it.

Absolutely phenomenal! The Rabbit Hole Gastropub in Harpers Ferry, WV, is hands down the best dining spot in this historic gem of a town. From the moment we stepped in the place was packed with vintage National Park signs that transported us to another era, and the stunning patio offers unbeatable views of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers converging with Maryland Heights as the backdrop. Truly one of the greatest vistas in West Virginia! The food was outstanding! Portions are generous, and flavors are fresh with plenty of options for vegetarians and health-conscious eaters. A local told us this was the best place in Harper's Ferry for lunch. We tried it and believe that was the correct advice. Easily 5 stars. The restaurant is cozy and charming, decorated with hiking, canoeing, and National Parks signs and the like. Our meals were great. Everyone in our party enjoyed our food and drink. The table service was efficient and polite. The prices were very reasonable. We sat inside on a day when the place was very busy. The outdoor seating would have been just as nice. It had a view of the railroad trestle across the rivers. Either indoor seating or outside, you can't go wrong at Rabbit Hole.

I am beyond amazed by this place. A cold beer by the mountainside with the mountain view infront of you is a dream scenario. There are incredible selections of beer, and the food is quality and affordable. There are also great selections of craft soda. I paired a birch beer with my meal and draft beer. It was a great time that I had here back in the summer, and I look forward to my next visit. It's a breathtaking experience.

Delicious food in this restaurant. Everything was great and the service was excellent. Our favorite was the short ribs poutine with sweet potatoes fries 😋😋😋 We had as well fish and chips and the St Louis pork ribs. We enjoyed the outdoors by eating in a igloo, nice experience!
