Lily Garden Bed & Breakfast

This was my second stay at Lily Garden Bed and Breakfast, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. I rarely return to the same place, but when planning our trip to Harpers Ferry, I knew I would be more than happy to stay here again. Cosy, charming, and in a fantastic location — just an easy walk into Harpers Ferry centre. The property also has convenient off-road parking. I particularly love the breakfast setup, with a few items thoughtfully provided for the duration of your stay. Quaint, comfortable, and welcoming, I would highly recommend this B&B and would happily return again next time I’m in the area.

Lily Garden’s upper apartment is truly lovely and welcoming, and the setting is gorgeous. (Loved hearing the occasional frog in the lily pond!) The breakfast provided is generous and it’s nice to be able to eat whenever you choose. It’s clean and comfortable, although I will say that if you have someone in the loft they will need to be nimble; coming down that straight ladder isn’t for the slightly creaky among us. The bed up there is large, though, as is the one in the downstairs main bedroom. Storer college campus is right down the road (nice walk to the historic site of civil rights) and it’s an easy, but a bit farther, downhill walk to the lower town and all of its attractions as well as to the train station. ||Harper’s Ferry is lovely, and Lily Garden has the perfect atmosphere for i

Let me first say how beautiful the area is and how much there is to do not just in Harpers Ferry but all around the surrounding areas. The Trundle Suite we stayed in was absolutely perfect for the three days and two nights we had booked. Everything thing we had requested for our breakfasts was terrific and fresh. Communications with the host were easy and fast. I must say though the bed leaves a little to be desired it was not the most comfortable. Maybe it was us and maybe we are use to something more firm. I would give The Lily Garden 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Great little spot! The bed and breakfast is a great walking distance from the national park and the town. Note it is a significant hill but it was manageable for us. The staff were friendly and the accommodations were well done. We stayed in the Carriage suite which has a second bed up on a loft. Breakfast is provided so you can explore on your own schedule and we appreciated the AC since it was 90 degrees outside when we stayed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit!

The hosts were amazing communication was perfect and always timely. The added little things like breakfast already in the fridge. To the old photos to the amazing documentations in the folder to help out with the things around town. I can not recommend this place enough quiet and kinda romantic for a couple. We definitely will be back.
