Customer Reviews
The Angler's Inn B&B was amazing. I stayed in the Washington Room and the room was clean, comfy and quiet. The room was beautiful, it was full of dark antique furniture and elephants. The bed was soft and firm. The B&B is about a mile from the Harper's Ferry train station. ||||The inn's owners were kind and welcoming. And the breakfasts were amazing. When I travel back to Harper's Ferry I would love to stay here again.
My fiance and I booked a last minute trip to Harper's Ferry last weekend. The Angler's Inn was incredibly accommodating. We stayed in the McKenzie Room and loved every detail. The room was spacious, with a lovely bathroom and private sitting room as well as porch access. Our breakfast was delicious and the host struck the perfect balance between providing advice and giving us our space. Angler's Inn is in a great location and a comfortable spot to land after exploring Harper's Ferry. Next time we are going to make time to stay longer!
We stayed overnight only as part of a longer road trip and really enjoyed the ambiance of this beautifully decorated, 1870s era home. Bryan and Debbie recently moved to an Airbnb model and we were the only guests in the home. We had full use of the kitchen, parlor, and dining room, and, of course, our suite. The suites were amazing and consisted of a spacious bedroom, sun porch, and bathroom, all nicely decorated. Debbie promptly replied to any questions we had. We drove to the historic sites and it's a very fast drive. We found it very quiet, too. || We would definitely stay there again.
My boyfriend and I stayed for our anniversary. We were greeted with a warm welcome, tour of the house and cookies! The house and room (McKenzie room) were clean and the size of the room was great!. The room included our own private bathroom, separate attached sitting room for reading or relaxing, a queen sized bed and our own private entrance/exit. The room was advertised as being right next to the breakfast area on the first floor but the owner did a great job at keeping the area quiet until breakfast time. We wake up early so that wasn't a problem. It was definitely like a home away from home and we hope to come back soon.
My husband and I stayed in the McKenzie Room, which is the only downstairs room off of the dining room. It has a private sitting room and outdoor sitting area. Bed was very comfortable. Both breakfasts were delicious. We love the hospitality of Debbie and Tonya. This Inn is in the Upper Town, which is convenient to a few good restaurants. The Lower Town can be quite a down then upper hike, so we parked after the first day of walking at the train station. Very nice and highly recommend. We met some very nice people and shared good times with them. No television in the room, so make friends!
