Here's the deal. Grew up in Connecticut, now live in the Seattle area. Was headed North on Route 8 to NW Connecticut from JFK and needed dinner, and found this gem. My wife had the Lasagna, and I had the toasted Italian Grinder! 5 Stars across the board! Great service with a smile, and the food was excellent, well prepared and so tasty! Our server Mora is a real gem, as well as the rest of the staff! Priced very reasonable compared to Seattle prices. Can't recommend any higher! Will go out of our way to go back! Patrons were also very pleasant! If I lived back in the area I'd be the size of a blimp eating here, so delicious with huge portions! God Bless and keep up the great standards!
What a great, little find while visiting family in CT. The food was fresh, well prepared, and delicious. The portions...well, bring your appetite! The staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. In fact, "feeling at home" is probably the best description of this place...it's like you sneaked into your grandmother's kitchen to sample all her best stuff. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back when in the area.
Delicious pizza and friendly service. We ate here back in 2003 when we were driving a semi over the road. We were very impressed with the quality of the food then and I am happy to say they are still delicious. Wish we could have returned here sooner.
Food was very bland, got the chicken marsala and pasta primavera. Cobb Salad was an embarrassment. Pictures attached. That’s not even close to a Cobb Salad and for the price that’s ridiculous.
Let's do it. This place is a hidden gem right in our backyard. It's small but it's doing big things with the food and the service. We were greeted when we walked in and seated right away. Off the top of my head, there's probably about 10 tables inside which were full, so make a reservation. Gia was our waitress. She was so kind, attentive, and very sweet. She kept checking on us and gave us updates on our order. We ordered lasagna poppers for our appetizer, and it was delicious. For dinner, I had linguine and clams, hubby had lasagna, and they both came with salad. The salad was not made with iceberg lettuce, thank God. The pasta was cooked to perfection lots of clams, lots of garlic I was in heaven. I tasted the lasagna as well. The sauce was great it didn't have mounds of ricotta. The c
