The Orchard House: Inn | Ice Cream | Cafe

The Orchard Inn was perfect! The room was so clean and the bed super comfortable. A big thing for us too is a nice warm shower and this one did not disappoint! Coffee and breakfast in the sunny breakfast room made a great start to each day. Not to mention Bill and his mom who went out of their way on Thanksgiving morning to sell us ice cream that we needed to go with dessert for our family dinner when we discovered that every store was closed! We will be back!

This was by far our favorite place we stayed during our family vacation. I would 100% go back. |The rooms were not only clean but gorgeous and comfy. The breakfast was simple but perfect; even our three year old ate like a champ. Bill is so nice and so was everyone else with whom we interacted. |The grounds are visually beautiful too. |Being attached to an ice cream shop was also so much fun! |I can’t wait to go back.

Everyone should go here! We loved it. It is very classic Maine, charming and beautiful. The owner is so nice and added little details to make our stay even better. We will definitely be going back and encouraging our friends to go as well!

Wonderful company great food! The owner is very nice and well informed about the town. Has a passion for treating guests well and is dedicated to it. I had a BLT and it was fantastic! Highly recommend checking them out. Talk with the owner, enjoy this peaceful retreat.

Stopped at the Orchard House while in Freeport. Great ice cream, fun seasonal flavors! The attractive dining area is a step up from the usual ice cream parlor yet still family friendly. We were lucky enough to meet Bill the owner and his mom Lynn. Delightful people! Definitely will make this a regular stop!
